This is a list of all the technology I currently OWN and USE, day in and day out. I picked them for very specific reasons.
The Gear | Category | Why I bought it | Gear_Image |
---|---|---|---|
15LED Flood Lighting, RGB | LED Lighting | Super affordable, powered/corded, LED lights, perfect for adding colors to any photo/video shoot. Comes with IR remote controls. | Check Price |
Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod | Tripod | This is my favorite MiniTripod. I almost always have it with me. It is small enough to fit into my jacket pocket. It works great as a vlogging grip and can instantly prop open to place my camera on a table for hands free photos and videos! $20, VERY well spent! | |
LG 42.5" 4K (43UD79-B) | Monitor | For a productivity monitor, this thing blows the competition away. 4K resolution with at this size is PERFECT, I can use 100% dpi scaling, and all my texts are crips and easy to read. Colors are perfect (after calibration). The price is a real bargain, in my opinion. NOTE: It has a relatively slow refresh rates that makes it a no-no for high speed gaming. | |
Canon 85mm F/1.2 Mark II | Camera Lens | The most beautiful Portrait Lens out there! This lens is responsible some of my most proud wedding photos! The lens is very slow to focus, and really requires a skill to use effectively, but over the years, I've learned to capture some great photos with it! I ALWAYS bring this lens with me when I photograph wedding. It's one of my 3 *most* important lens as a wedding photography. | Check Price |
Sennheiser EW 112P G3-G | Microphone | Top-of-the-line Wireless Microphone systems that I've been using for years, they are well worth their cost! Love how versatile these are! | Check Price |
GoPro HERO6 Black | Camera | Perfect for anything that requires capturing footage in a rough environment. I attach these to cars for awesome videos, and I use these underwater without any additional housing needed. Audio quality is really bad on these guys, but the extreme footage is what these cameras are known for. They also have a timelapse mode that I can leave running the entire day on a single battery (based on the photo capture frequency). | Check Price |
Canon G7x Mark II | Camera | Perfect little camera for vlogging and traveling. It's small, compact, has great low light capabilities. Can record beautiful video at 1080p and has a flip out screen that I enjoy using to frame myself, take low angle shots as well as over head shots with ease. The audio recording capabilities is the weakest link, but I don't mind given how compact and travel friendly this camera is! | Check Price |
Canon 100mm f/2.8 L Macro | Camera Lens | Great for close up product shots for UTECHPIA's video and awesome for taking photos of rings, at weddings. | Check Price |
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS Mark II | Camera Lens | One of the most useful lens I have to shoot wedding photography! This is a *MUST* have lens, along with the 24-70mm f/2.8 L Mark II and the 85mm f/1.2 L Mark II. | Check Price |
Canon 24-70 Mark II | Camera Lens | Simply one of the most used lens to record all of UTECHPIA's Videos and is a workhouse for wedding photography. | Check Price |
Canon 1Dx | Camera | We bought these cameras when they just hit the market, years ago, and although there is a version II out now. The original ones are still amazing for shooting weddings, action photography, and used to record all of UTECHPIA's videos! | Check Price |
2015 iMac 5K 27" | Desktop | As a Final Cut Pro user, this is probably the BEST priced computer for the job. I also love pairing it with my MacBook Pro as well. Both are very comparable in performance and price. | Check Price |
2017 MacBook Pro | Laptop | This thing is amazing, yes, it's expensive, but it's an extremely well built laptop that has solid performance. It's the most compact and lightweight 15" laptop out there; given the level of performance it offers! | Check Price |
